September 10, 2009 - Thursday

Rainy, warm and sunny, cold and windy and rainy again.

Despite my misgivings it was an almost okay day. I got up on time but the news wasn't on. Sigh. I showered and then dragged my suitcase out of its resting place and started packing. I never know what to pack. I know I shouldn't pack as much as I do because I hope to buy some new things along the way.

F came back and wanted to go out for breakfast, but I refused. Instead I had some soup and watched a show about being a perfect housekeeper. I will never be one. Sigh. I did little bits and pieces of things throughout the afternoon. I finally sewed up the hole in my purse's lining and did some preventative sewing on it. I turned off the crockpot and washed it. I didn't realize that I had overflowed the soup and it had burned underneath the china crock. Oops.

Finally around 4 I allowed hubby to take me out for a late lunch to Gusto. I had their new dish, steak hamburg with wasabi sauce. It was yummy. I was quite impressed. Course, I love wasabi :-) I was dropped off at the school after our meal.

Work was fine today. I vacuumed, cleaned and generally made the school nice, just to have the first student cancel. Sigh. She's so busy. I got ready for the second class and then spent some time doing bookkeeping. I was going great guns until I realized that my receipts had magically unsorted themselves. Grr. I had to put the books aside for a while.

My 2 students came. They try hard, well one of them does, but they are at quite different maturity levels, which means that one is working hard and the other is goofing off. Still we got through it. I gave them extra homework for my vacation. I'm mean!

After work, and my paperwork, I called F and he came to get me. We went out to Cocos for dinner tonight. It was their double point day, so we thought we'd boost our pointcard! I had a yummy meal of crab spaghetti, while F had hamburger.

We came home after dinner and had a quiet evening at home. Tomorrow we have to finish packing and I'll be doing a lot of printing at my computer. Wish me luck with that please! And, sorry, but I most likely will not update tomorrow night. I just have too much to do and I have to leave too early (for me) on Saturday morning.
