Wednesday - Clear and sunny.

Today was an okay day. I got up on time but decided that I’d stay up for a while and if I wanted I’d go back to sleep. I went back to bed for a while and slept a little past my alarm. F called me when I was sleeping and said that he’d heard there was a gas explosion somewhere and wanted to make sure I was okay. It was sweet of him, but I can’t help thinking that he probably thinks I napped all the other days too. I had decided that since I hadn’t for the rest of my days off, I would today.

I watched a bit of TV, including Celebrity Apprentice, then decided to finally go out under my own power. I grabbed my bike and went for a ride over to the grocery store. They have an ATM there so I could update my school’s passbook. Hurray.

It was nice biking today, even though some people put their snow on the road to melt. It’s fine for cars, not so fine for people on bikes. Gah.

I got to the grocery store without much walking and then went to the bank machine. I did my thing and then decided to go to McDonalds for a quick bite. I had their salt and lemon chicken burger and it was quite nice. I had it with some iced tea and I sat and read part of my book.

Around 5 I decided to bike home. I was delighted that it was still light out. Hurray for that! I didn’t go my usual way as the sidewalks were still quite deep in snow. I found a way home that wasn’t a short cut or anything, but I didn’t have to walk my bike.

I got home again and chilled for a while. F was home fairly early tonight, around 6:30 I think. We did the dinner dance again. He kept suggesting bad Japanese restaurants which I refused, but he finally mentioned an okay fish restaurant so I said fine to it. We also went to a kara age shop on the way their. We got there just after they closed, but they still let us in and sold us a couple of things. Tonight’s dinner was in Hana and I liked it. I had my favourite cooked fish in a set meal, F had a udon nabe and sashimi. He ordered his stuff and then announced that I had to share the sashimi with him. Hmm? Then his nabe arrived and he dished out a bunch of it and said it was for me. I didn’t want it, and didn’t ask for it. I refused it completely and in fact didn’t have any of the sashimi either. To be honest, this is a bit of a thing with F. He orders a lot of food and then announces that I’ve got to share it with him. Well, no I don’t actually. I ordered food that I wanted, and he didn’t consult with me on the extras he ordered. Oh well. Just before we left he knocked his glass of water over all over himself and the floor. I felt a little sorry for him.

We swung by my school so I could set the heater for tomorrow. I have a class tomorrow evening so need to get over there.

We came home and F channel surfed into Erin Brockovich so we watched that. I still haven’t seen the whole thing, but it was good. Julia Roberts is one of those likeable people on screen. I think so anyway!

I watched the American Idol results show after the movie while F slept on the couch. I tried to join him there, but he was too out of it to hear me.

And that’s about it for my day. I enjoyed my day off and it was nice to get out in the sun. Heck, it was nice that there was sun! We still have tons of snow piled up everywhere, but it is starting to melt. Hurray. Hurray.

Got to go. Night!

I like Micky D's Salt, Lemon Chicken burger as well, light and not filling. But the Miami burger, for all it's weirdness...is GREAT!

Really!? I was debating trying it, but it looked quite messy so didn't. I'll try and have one sometime if I get back there!

Thanks for the tip, and for commenting :-)
