Monday - Cold and cloudy.

I had an odd day this morning. I decided since there wasn’t any news on that I was going to sleep a bit longer. So, I did.

I got up later on and watched a bit of the TV from the weekend. Some of it was good, some of it was annoying—I’m talking to you CSI: Miami!

In the afternoon I had a couple of English Muffins with tuna salad and cheese…it is good! Then, I set out into the snow.

I walked to city hall to see about getting my new Alien Registration card. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was quite easy this time. I filled in a couple of forms, and then had a seat. I have to go back in a couple of weeks, but it’s not a big deal really.

I came home, did a tiny amount of snow shovelling and then came into the apartment and caught the end of Cold Case.

I relaxed for a while until it was close to 7. I decided to get a head start on dinner. I was in the kitchen when F came home. He basically didn’t talk to me and went straight to bed. When I asked him if he wanted dinner he said he didn’t. I decided to make dinner for myself anyway as I had to eat.

Tonight’s dinner was butter chicken, from a spice packet I had bought in Canada. Instead of serving it on rice I served it on fettuccine noodles. It was darn good. I put the leftovers away. If F wants them he can get them himself. Although they might be my lunch tomorrow!

I had a quiet evening by myself and didn’t see my husband again until he came out of the bedroom at 2 am. I was watching There’s No Business Like Show Business when he made an appearance. Then he wanted to start talking about my taxes. Umm. NO!

I think he’s gone off again. I’m going to go to bed as soon as I post this, but I’m not sure what he’s going to do with himself.

Night!

Hubbies sometimes choose the weirdest times to do things...

Yeah CSI Miami, great locale but simply annoying!

Congrats on the easy run at city hall. I still have to update mine... ooops.

Updating the card isn't that bad usually. In the time I've had my card I went from Spousal Visa to Permanent Resident so I was expecting to "fight" over my "Permanent" residence back home. However, they never asked me for an address in Canada this time...so hopefully they've dropped that (stupid) requirement now.

Thanks for visiting!
