Monday - Cloudy and muggy, rainy at night

There be a typhoon on the way.  Batten down the hatches Matey!

I thought about going out this morning and surprisingly, I was up in time to go out, but then I realised that I was very tired, so I stayed home.

I slept later then got up to watch SATC.  I don’t know if I’d seen this one before or not.  After that, I watched a bit of TV here and there before taking a shower.  I did a bit of cleaning in the shower too.  Yay me.

In the afternoon I had lunch and then took some books to the post office to send away.  They’re off to another place in Japan.

I came home and a little while later F came home.  He asked me to go to the electronic shop with him to pick up some ink.  I changed my shirt and he told me that I looked like a Hobbit!  I wasn’t too happy about that.  I was wearing pants that came down about halfway on my leg.  They were nice and cool, so they felt good.  I guess that with my bare feet, I must have looked like a movie character.  I changed my pants even though he was protesting that he didn’t mean it and that he meant it in a good way.

We bought our ink and then came home.  At home, F put the ink in the various machines and I got dinner underway.  It was pasta with avocado sauce and salad.  It wasn’t bad, except the pasta was much better than the sauce.  I had bought expensive stuff a year ago and it was due to expire tomorrow!

F did the dishes and I relaxed for a while.  We had a quiet evening in.  We each watched a bit of TV that we wanted to, and enjoyed ourselves I think.  I did a bit more darning in.  I only have a few ends left and then I can start the sides.

F spent the evening doing a couple of postcrossings and I “helped” him when necessary. We had a lot of problems uploading a picture, but finally figured it out.

And that’s about it.  Tomorrow I have an evening class and hopefully dinner with hubby!  Come back and see what happens.  Night!

I have a coat my husband refers to as my Snufkin coat. You know Snufkin from the Moomins? He meant it as an observation. If his observation was made amongst compliments then I might have taken it better. Still the garment was interesting enough to elicit an comment so I think your husband liked them. Fashion isn't so well documented around here so they don't have many points of reference to draw from.o.o/*

Well, there's also the whole "He's a man and knows NOTHING about fashion" thing either! I think it must be the 18th as well. In my old entries for June 18, he also called a pair of striped pants of mine "Clown Pants". I thought they were the bees knees until then.

And, sad to say, I don't really know the Moomins! I know what they are though, so I kind of understand how you felt.

Thanks for visiting:-)

I cleaned the shower last week. I won't tell you the last time I cleaned it before that... Must be something in the air to make us clean the shower at the same time... :-)

Honestly, cleaning the shower isn't my job! My DH does it as he takes baths and steams the room up something awful. However, his back has been really bad recently, so I don't think he noticed the part that I cleaned!

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
