Wednesday - Hot and sunny

A good day.  I woke up early because I got an email from a student.  It wasn’t too long before I was supposed to get up anyway, so not a terrible thing.  I got up and watched Ghost Whisperer.  I used to get up for the news in English, but NHK seems to have forgotten they are a news channel.

Had a good day at home.  I worked on the card that I was sending to the US.  It was fun and I hope she likes what I did with her card!

In the early part of the afternoon, I showered, then did a little dinner prep. I had my own lunch too, which was quite nice.  Above Suspicion was on this afternoon, so I watched that and when it was over, I made a run to the post office.

I came home and a few minutes later, F came home.  He’d gone to Yamagata on business today and brought me back some Nutella.  What a guy!  Maybe even a keeper?!  Or it could be that he’s eaten most of my other jar?

I cooked dinner after a bit and it was nice.  We had garlic pork, lettuce and macaroni and cheese with tuna in it.  It was quite nice and F was complimenting me without needing prodding!

He did the dishes and we had a quiet night in.  He went to bed early and at midnight I found myself dozing in front of my computer.  I think this hot weather is sapping all of my strength! Yuck.

One nice thing is that I got a call from a student today.  She’s been away for a while and booked a class today for Saturday.  I was glad to hear from her, and happy to know that she’s doing better.

And that’s about it for my day.  It was rather good.  I’m not sure what I’ll do tomorrow but I hope to go out for a bit.  Wish me luck with that.  Night!
