Friday - Wet and cool in the morning, sunny and cooler in the evening

The weather broke finally.  It’s so much cooler than before.  Hurray.

In other things….this morning F took me back to the doctor.  I asked him about my meeting next week, if I would be able to go or not, and that seemed to light a fire under his butt!  Instead of having a CT scan next week, he sent me to the emergency room of the local hospital to get one.  While I was there I had all sorts of interesting tests and things done to me!

Upshot is I finally have a diagnosis, one I was more than halfway expecting, plus an added bonus that I thought might be present too.  I’ve started treatment and I already feel much, much better.  I still have a bit of pain in my side but even that is better than before.

Last night, I couldn’t sleep lying down so I had to sleep sitting up on the chesterfield, this evening I took a nap in bed.  Improvements!

F and I hadn’t eaten breakfast, and didn’t get out of the hospital until after 4 pm, so we went to Cocos and had a nice meal.  We came home for a bit and then went out for dinner after 8.  Tonight we went to Grado and had a good meal, except that a couple of people in the restaurant were smoking and it was a little uncomfortable for me. I’m going to have to avoid being around smokers for a while.

Anyway…had a nice dinner, got F to pick up something at the drugstore for me, then checked my school.  Things are fine there.

We came home and I watched a good Mel Gibson movie, followed by an interesting British movie called The Disappearance of Alice Creed. It was a three-hander, only three actors but quite well written and acted. I had no idea what was going to happen next.

Now we’re watching the Lord of the Rings…well I am.  F is watching Youtube and laughing away at times.

That’s it for me. I really should get to bed soon, but Lord of the Rings is so….Aragorn, kwim?

Got to go.  Night.

I'm glad you were finally able to find out what the problem is and get the appropriate treatment. Hope you're feeling better by next weekend!

So do I! I'm still not feeling that much better though.
