Saturday - Snowy

A good day.

This was a bit of an odds and sods day.  I got up and took a shower.  Then, F and I went off to see a doctor.  Not a usual one, but one for me.  I’m not going to go into details, I’m not sick, just need to get something checked out.

We came home just after noon to have lunch.  Yes, we ate at home today!  We had a quesadilla which I threw together, the leftover nabe and the leftover pulled pork.  Somehow, the meal worked and it was nice to eat at home for a change.

In the afternoon I took a nap.  I was so tired for some reason, I couldn’t stay awake.  I slept for a bit over two hours, which surprised me!

In the evening, we went out for dinner.  F wanted to go to the Chinese restaurant near the bridge, so that’s what we did.  I had some stir-fried vegetables with shrimp, pork, egg and black mushroom.  It was actually quite good, wish there had been more veg though.  F of course had ramen. It wasn’t his favourite.
After dinner, we made a quick stop at the apartment to get his medicine and then went to Machi-Kine to see a movie.  Tonight’s film was My Old Lady and it was rather good.  I was happy because Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline and Kristin Scott-Thomas were in it and I like all of them.  It was quite a cute little story that turned into a fairly serious drama.

After the movie we came home and picked up the kerosene tanks.  We bought more kerosene and then went to McDonalds.  I wanted to spend a bit of time out tonight.  We had a drink each and then went to the grocery store for a few things.  After that, we came home.

I watched a few shows that I normally watch on Wednesday and finished up the scarf that I am making.  All that is left is to do an edging on it.

And that’s it.  It was a nice day, for the most part.  And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get some sleep!  Come back later and find out about my Sunday.  Until tomorrow….

I'm fine thanks! Just a family thing that I should check out...and did. Not to worry.

I'm fine as far as I know!

That pulled pork sounds awesome! And I hope it doesn't sound too mean, but I have to say that it cracks me up that F orders ramen everywhere and never seems to enjoy it. He's after the holy grail of ramen. :)

Hope your weekend is going great!

It cracks me up too! He always orders ramen and is always disappointed. I've suggested that he NOT order ramen for a change but it is a lot like he is on a quest! The holy grail of ramen...I rather like that!!!

Yes, it is going well so far. Thanks for visiting today :-)
