Tuesday - Sunny and warm

A good day.

I got up this morning fairly late for me, but it was okay. I was quite tired again.  I did this thing where I was still in bed, but watching the news on the telly. I did get up when the news finished, so that was good.

I had a quiet morning really.  I started to prepare some of the classes I’m teaching this week, so I didn’t watch as much TV as I usually do.  That’s probably a good thing.  It’s strange how out of practice I am for teaching and planning.  It’s been a while.  I think I got enough things down on paper with some cards and other ideas.  At least, I really hope so!

I had lunch around 3 and went downstairs to prepare it first.  I checked in the fridge for the chicken roll that I bought yesterday.  I was going to share it with K.  I couldn’t find it. I did find the empty packet by the sink.  I guess that someone found it in the fridge and ate it! It wasn’t very big, so I do understand her eating it all, but I thought I had hidden it better! I had other food so it wasn’t a terrible thing, just a bit funny!

F came home just as I finished up a class.  I wanted to sort through things, but I didn’t have time.  F is not the kind of guy who can give me time to plan or prepare, he never has been.  I just put everything away for a bit.  I should have some time tomorrow to get everything ready.

He wasn’t feeling well, and to be honest, neither was I.  We wanted to go out and have something easy.  For F, that means noodles.  Bleck.  Despite having them last night, and me not really being a huge fan, I said it was okay. Well, we tried!  We drove all over the place looking for a restaurant to go to. We even went to a couple of Italian places, but they were closed! It must be the restaurant off day today. We finally ended up at a place on the south side of the city and didn’t have noodles at all. In fact, we had the same thing! I liked it, F not so much.

We did a quick bit of grocery shopping and then came back to the house. I watched some TV to unwind and then took a shower.  F had gone to bed early for a change, which is good. I’m about to go too as I’m quite tired and I have to teach tomorrow. Yikes! Wish me luck.

And that was my day. Come back later and I’ll let you know if all my preparing worked or if I need to up my game. Until tomorrow….

Teaching is just like riding a bicycle Once you've got it, you've got it! Break a leg! :D

Thanks! I hope you are right. I have a very husky voice too from my cold... I'm a tad worried to be honest that I'll lose all of it. Not good!

Thanks for visiting :-)
