Monday - Rainy
A busy day.
I got up this morning and watched my shows. I did make the bed early and also dressed in my workout clothes quite early too. I did a two mile workout today, one with the band resistance and another newer one for me. I didn’t really like the newer one but it is early days yet.
F didn’t come home for lunch, so I didn’t get interrupted. Yay.
In the afternoon I had a quick lunch and then finished my thank you letter to my relative. After that, I sealed my sister’s parcel and got ready to walk to the post office. Yes, I said walk. My parcel was big and it was raining quite hard so I decided walking would be a good idea. I got it mailed off quite easily.
I came home and discovered that I had received 3 gotochi cards in the mail as part of an exchange from Chiba. I have to hurry up and get the next two of mine sent off.
I also got started on dinner. I was having a busy night. I made Roasted Kabocha and Carrot soup, and roasted some cauliflower, plus marinated some pork in Worchestershire sauce. It all turned out well. F was a bit late coming home, which worked out well for me.
When F came home I was still in the midst of cooking, so I kept on with it. He was really tired and barely spoke to me at all. It was quite sad.
When dinner was ready I called him. He was napping on the bed, but did come. I think we had a good meal, I did. Everything was very nice and I thought quite delicious.
I did the dishes afterwards, but F did offer at one point. I knew he was tired, so I gave him a break.
We had a quiet evening in. I watched a bit of TV, F snoozed on the couch and then finally went off to bed. I’m thinking of heading there too right away.
I feel like I really did a lot today. Dinner was good and there are enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow. Yay for that. Tomorrow I might begin work on my Christmas Newsletter or my Christmas cards. Wish me luck with that! Come back anon and find out what I get up to. Until tomorrow….

Sounds like you're keeping busy these days. And you've got the jump on Christmas. I haven't even begun to think about thinking about Christmas yet!
I can't believe how close it is. I have to send my stuff over to Canada and the UK, so I'm actually quite late. I'll have to send things the expensive way :-(
But, I am glad that I started!
Thanks for visiting.
Hi Helen,
Thanks for your kind comment on my crocheted tree! I am so glad you posted the tutorial link on Ravelry, and I'm hoping to find you there. :)
The tree is one of my all time favs! I like simple and clever ideas like that.
I see you live in Japan :) I am originally from Hyogo-ken, but I've been living in the US for over 20 years, which is half of my life! Why oh why. :D
Hi Chie!
I loved it too, and when I found it couldn't believe that no-one had posted it to Ravelry before I did!
I have been to Hyogo and really enjoyed my time there. I went to a meeting and also saw a fabulous exhibit in an art gallery in Kobe.
I think you have been in the US for the same reason I'm still here, we met someone ;-)
I use the same nom de plume on Ravelry as I do here, stellastarstruck. Feel free to look me up :-)
Thanks for visiting!
