Tuesday - Rainy, Cloudy & Cold
I woke up with my alarm this morning. F was already awake. He got dressed before I got up and went downstairs to make something for his mother. He’s very nice that way!
I watched the news and F went to the doctor’s office. I spent a quiet morning and enjoyed it. When F came back we talked about going out for lunch. Since F had given his mother some food, it would just be the two of us going out. Yay.
We went to the hotel in the mall because I had read online that they had a special reasonable lunch these days. They did have it, but it had tomatoes in it, so I ended up having something more expensive. I thought it didn’t matter because I would get a discount as I have a customer card, but when we paid for our meal, we didn’t get one! Huh? The meal we had was quite nice, but I think I could have made it a bit better!
After the meal, we went back to the house. On the way, F stopped into the grocery store to pick up some stuff for when his sister stopped by. Huh? First I’ve heard about it. I stayed in the car and let him do his stuff.
We went back to the house and had a bit of a rest. I got up before 4 pm and watched the news.
F’s sister finally appeared and he went downstairs. F spent most of the time in the kitchen making noodles for his sister and her husband! I went downstairs to say hi and see if I could help. F didn’t want any help, so I came back upstairs. They don’t speak English, so there wasn’t too much I could say to them.
F came upstairs after his sister left and vegged for a long time. I asked him about dinner but he didn’t seem too interested. I was really getting hungry. Around 8 pm we finally did go out. We went to Coco Ichibanya, the curry place. I had the Spice Curry and it was yummy! F had a pork liver curry with garlic. Better him than me! Still, he liked it.
We went to the grocery store afterwards and I picked up some food for tomorrow night and Thursday night. I hope I got enough! I think I’ll be doing chicken tomorrow night.
We came back to the house, put away the food and then came upstairs. We had a quiet night really. I didn’t watch any TV. I took a shower and then came back upstairs and looked at my blog!
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I should do a bit of laundry and of course, I have to prepare dinner. If I get the chance I’ll do a little bit of early prep.
