Wednesday - Warmish and sunny
I first woke up this morning when F got up. He made a bit of noise and I heard it. I fell back asleep. I woke up again when his alarm went off at 7:00am. I turned it off and managed to fall asleep again.
I woke up again when my alarm went off. I went downstairs and then came back upstairs. I watched a few videos and then I went back to sleep. Did I oversleep again? Yes, why do you ask?
I got dressed and went downstairs. I brought my breakfast upstairs and then ate it. I watched the news and then too much YouTube again. I was going to do some laundry, but when I was at the top of the stairs I heard F’s sister in the living room talking to her mother. I didn’t want to start doing laundry while there were visitors so I took my laundry back upstairs and decided not to do it.
F popped in for a couple of minutes today. He gave me a kiss and then he went off again.
Today I went down to get my lunch and put it together in the kitchen. I had some leftovers with my usual sandwiches so that was good. I decided to watch The Great British Bake-Off, season 9 today, the first episode. It was really good as usual, except I miss Sue and Mel and Mary Berry.
F called me tonight around 5:30 and said he was on his way. After a bit of a break, I went downstairs and got started on dinner. Tonight we had a simple dinner. I did burgers from the store, French fries and salad. I asked F if he’d prefer some veggies or a side pasta and he chose the pasta. I was surprised too!
Dinner was pretty good and I got it on the table fairly close to 7pm so that was good! We finished early, so I took the dishes back to the kitchen and started washing them. It got done fairly quickly tonight which as nice. When I finished the dishes, I had to do up the garbage. It went fairly well tonight, but I did throw out a few things from the fridge.
I said goodnight to K when I finished and went upstairs. I relaxed with YouTube for a bit and then I went downstairs again to take a shower. It felt really good as I had missed my usual time a couple of days ago.
I came back upstairs and watched Grey’s Anatomy. I had to watch it from the DVR as I’d missed the beginning. It was….just a regular episode except the young interns are fighting again.
And that’s about it for my day. I’m still taking my OTC painkillers, but tonight I only took one instead of two. I think my back is feeling better, so I’ll just take things easy for a bit.
