Rainy and finally snowy. Winter is ba---ack!

A nice day really. I got up this morning around 12. I had set my alarm for 11:30, so I did get up before the afternoon. Fumihiko was already up watching "stuff". After I checked email and had a bit of coffee, we went out for brunch.

I suggested the Daiichi Hotel. They don't have a buffet lunch anymore, so I wanted to see how their lunch was now. The answer? Much nicer! It was a little more expensive (although some options were quite expensive) than the buffet, but honestly, the food was so much better. Today we had minestrone soup with soy beans in it, Shonai pork (that's the local stuff..excellent) with an onion cheese sauce, bread or rice and coffee. It was very good.

After lunch, we checked out where the tax office was, because tomorrow Fumihiko is taking me to do my taxes. Da dum. Da dum. Da.....you get the picture.

We came home for a long spell in the afternoon and just took things easy. Fumihiko was watching something which ended and turned into a kids program, so I asked if we could check other channels. He surfed and I noticed that George Michael was on one channel. I ended up watching of course. It was a documentary of sorts with him. For a lot of it he was sitting talking with a balding doe eyed man. I realized with a bit of a start that it was Andrew Ridgeley, from WHAM! Goodness. He does not look the same. Still, he did look happy and he did get on well with George.

When the documentary ended we went out for dinner. We planned to go to one place, but changed our minds and went to Moku-Moku instead. We both had pasta there. It was a nice evening, even though the snow was coming down. After dinner, we visited Yamaya for a few foreign goodies. I got sunflower seeds...not foreign, just hard to find in other stores, some decaf coffee and some jasmine tea.

We came home and basically had a quiet evening. I watched Dear Frankie on tv. I'd seen it years ago with my best friend, and I wanted Fumihiko to see it. It was nice to see it again. Fumihiko was quite busy though, he was checking my taxes. I'll have to pay something he thinks, but it's not a terrible amount and I don't mind too much.

That basically was my day. It was good. Tomorrow I have to get up early as we're going to the tax office. Wish me luck and patience please! It's not my favourite thing. I get to sit there like a bump on a log and try to be quiet while everyone around me gets all fussed. Ah well. Power to them I say!

That's it. I'm out of here! Night night.
