Saturday - Cloudy and snowy.

A good day.

I got up on time this morning and took my shower right away. F was at the doctor, but came back when I was in the shower. We vegged for a while. We went to Grado for our Brunch and had a nice meal. After lunch, F drove me over to my school.

We noticed some damage from the storm this week, so F said he’d contact the building company for me, and he went off. I went in and got things set up. It was cold for a long time in the apartment. When I got there it was under 10 degrees and didn’t warm up for ages.

I did quite a lot of things, including getting ready for my class. My student was a little late today, but did come, and we had a good class.

After class I took some time and did a bit of paperwork and some reading. I called F around 6:30 and he came to pick me up. He was sooner than I expected!

We went to the Komagi spa for dinner. We planned to have the buffet but there was a waiting line, so we went into the restaurant and had a meal from the menu. Mine was quite nice, except for the miso soup. It was cold and there was a fish head in it. Yuck and yuck.

After our meal, we made a stop at home for F and then went over to the theatre. Tonight we went to see 50/50. It was quite good. I really enjoyed it. It didn’t pull punches, and it didn’t make fun of it either. I thought it was quite balanced. There were parts that were hysterically funny, and yet, parts where a tear was falling down my cheek.
We came home via the grocery store and had a bit of a snack at home. Then we watched some TV and then more TV and finally F went to bed. I’m up watching the first episode of Sex and the City. It’s rather fun in an odd sort of way.

Anyway, that’s it for me. It’s been a good day, surprisingly. Tomorrow? Who knows? Night!

I'm sorry to hear that the miso-soup was cold, but miso-soup with fish head is not so bad, I think.

I think if the miso soup had been hotter I would have enjoyed it more. I'm not really a fan of fish heads in my soup, but I don't mind too much as long as the soup was good. It wasn't that great.

A friend of mine used to give me miso soup with shrimp heads in it and that was okay! I think I'm just worrying that I'll have fish eyeballs floating around in my soup. (That would really freak me out!)

Thanks for visiting Mieko!
