Friday - Sunny and hot.
What a morning I had! Before I went to bed, I went to the washroom and there was a bug running around. It was a scary-looking bug which thanks to Google I discovered was harmless and was a house centipede. It was creepy as heck though.
When I went to bed, it took me a while to fall asleep as I was creeped out by the bug.
F left for work around 6:30, he was going to go to an onsen first. He couldn’t find his phone, so in looking for it, made a bunch of noise. I woke up enough to ask F if he’d like me to phone his phone, so I did. After F left, I went downstairs and used the washroom, then I went back to bed and finally to sleep.
And…around 9:30, F walked in the room with ice cream for me. I was sound asleep. He’d phoned me twice on the way to the house to say he was coming back but I slept through the phone calls!
I asked F to put the ice cream in the freezer for me which he did, then he left a few minutes later. I fell back asleep again, and woke up after a bunch of my alarms went off!
When I got up, I took a load of clothes downstairs and washed them, grabbed my breakfast and then went upstairs to eat. I also did another load of laundry, this time it was towels. I hung them up in my room and then I got to relax. It was a bit late by then though.
I grabbed my lunch and came back upstairs to eat. I watched another episode of The Good Fight and it was good. I really am enjoying this show…I love watching intelligent people on TV!
F called a bit after he finished work and soon after I went downstairs to get started on dinner. Tonight, I just did an easy dinner, pasta with cold chicken from the store, salad and some sliced pickles. We also had some potato salad with that as well. It was appreciated, despite F not feeling all that well.
After dinner, I washed the dishes and cleaned up slightly, then went upstairs. I decided to watch a movie tonight and chose something off the DVR. I watched The Mummy from 1999. It was great. I enjoyed it so much! When it finished, I went downstairs and took a shower.
It was a decent day today, despite the way it started! I still haven’t started my column yet, but I have been thinking about it, so that is good. Wish me luck with it!
