Wednesday - Cold, windy and snowy
An okay day. I got up this morning and watched a bit of TV. A little later I got busier. Today I did a few loads of laundry, cleaned the toilet and later on, even went out and shovelled F’s parking space.
F came home around 6 pm and we watched Project Runway 2 together. Tonight was the show where all the designers got together and chatted. It was funny in places and also a bit weird.
We went out to go to my school to shovel snow for tomorrow’s class. F helped me a lot and we got the space cleared quickly. Of course, I’d be clearing it again tomorrow, but the worst of it was done. We had planned to go and buy food and then take it home, but F was tired, so we went out again.
We went to New York, New York, so at least it wasn’t expensive at all. I had chicken and salad, F had an oyster doria. We bought a few groceries afterwards and then came home. F picked up the kerosene tanks and got them filled at the gas station.
He came home and around 9:30 pm we were chilling out when I got an email from my student. She has the flu and was cancelling her lesson for tomorrow. Sigh. All that work for nothing. As I had preset the heater, we had to go back to the school and turn it off.
We drove off. The roads were quiet but a little slippery. We made good time and I unplugged the heater in my school. Then I took F out for a milkshake to McDonalds. It was nice to relax a little outside our apartment.
We came home and I did a bit of crochet while I watched TV. I’m still watching TV, but not crocheting at the moment! I’ll be going to bed soon I think.
Oh, I got a postcard today that is just up my alley. It’s a black and white movie star card and I’m quite pumped. I’ll try and post about it soon.
