Thursday - Humid and Sunny. A bit hot.
When I went to bed last night things were fine. F woke up a few minutes later and had a drink of water. I reminded him that he had clothes in the washing machine so if he needed to wear any of them he would have to get them out now! He went downstairs and grabbed his clothes and then proceeded to hang them up all over the room. That made it hard to fall asleep and I didn’t really!
This morning when I woke up, F was already gone. I went downstairs, came back up and relaxed with my phone. After a bit, I tried to go to sleep and…in came F. He had time between his driving assignments. He rested, and I slept! He had to leave after a while, and I got up soon after that.
I went downstairs and got my breakfast and then came back upstairs. I ate my breakfast, watched some YouTube and a bit later the news. Then, I went and had an almost nap. I was tired and it was hot. I woke up a bit later and then stripped the sheet off the bed and put the newly cleaned one on the bed. It was a bit hard as F’s side of the bed was quite messy, but I got it done. I remade my side of the bed and thought job well done!
I went downstairs and put the dirty sheet in the washing machine. Then I got my lunch. I was downstairs for just a few minutes and I was soaked in sweat when I came back upstairs. It was horrid.
I ate lunch upstairs and watched The Good Fight again. It was good. I think I’ll keep watching it, at least for now.
I went downstairs a bit before 5:50 and got started on dinner. Tonight I outdid myself! We had a fish stir-fry, fortified with extra onion and zucchini. I made the cucumber pickle that we like, plated some tuna and macaroni salad and made cold tofu for us all. I didn’t make the tofu, but I did plate it and add toppings!
Dinner was really good and got good reviews. Unfortunately, F had an upset stomach and really didn’t feel well at all. After dinner, I did dishes as quickly as I could so that we could go out and get food for tomorrow.
We did get over to the grocery store a bit early and I picked up some things for breakfast for F and K. I got other things too. On the way back to the house I popped into a drugstore and got some cereal for me.
I put the food away and came up to the bedroom. It was hot and humid up here and I was thinking about putting on the air conditioner again. However, dear F started to tell me that Everybody gets sick from Air Conditioning, which is just stupid. He tells me these sorts of things all the time and just expects me to agree with him. He doesn’t like air conditioning so he makes these things up.
I haven’t talked to him in hours and he’s sleeping now. I watched The Rookie: Feds and then turned off the TV.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, or this weekend. I tried to get F to agree to do bentos for dinner tomorrow, but he thinks he’ll be back late from work so it might not work out. I warned him that he’d be getting pasta if I had to cook! He doesn’t much like pasta!
