Wednesday - Rainy and humid, cooler

I woke up early, before my alarm and made a trip downstairs. I came back upstairs and went back to sleep. I did oversleep but got up before yesterday’s time, so win?

I got dressed and then went downstairs. I grabbed my breakfast and brought it up to the room where I ate and then watched the news. I had a fairly quiet afternoon. I got a text from F to say that he would be late tonight and was in Niigata. That’s weird as he works for Yamagata! 

I went downstairs to get my lunch a bit after 2pm and then came back upstairs to eat. I decided to try watching The Good Fight while I was eating and it was a good choice. I used to enjoy The Good Wife and Christine Baranski was one of my favourite actors on the show. It was a good episode to start the series and I enjoyed it a lot.

I was relaxing a bit after 5 pm and thinking that I might be able to go downstairs a little late when F called at his regular time. He’d come back to his office on time! He started driving back to the house and I went downstairs to start on dinner. 

Tonight I did a little bit of a no-fuss dinner. I did toaster oven chicken but with garlic rice.  We had salad and veggie sticks and K and F had mini-tomatoes. It was quite nice.  I called F downstairs and he went straight into the washroom. Where he stayed for a long time. I suggested to K that we start eating but she wouldn’t. I did! When F did come to the table, he got mad at K for not eating!  I thought it was funny.

I did the dishes after dinner and then I did up the garbage in the kitchen and bathroom. I put it in the genkan for F for later.

I said goodnight to K and went upstairs with some sports drink. I had sweated so much in the kitchen that I thought I needed it. I got my bag of garbage in the bedroom ready and gave it to F for his stuff to go in. He took it downstairs and made rice as well while he was down there. 

He came upstairs and basically fell asleep on the bed right away. A little later I went downstairs and took a shower. It was nice!

I came back upstairs and watched another episode of Fallout. It was okay, but could have been better. It’s kind of how I feel about the whole show! I think I have two more episodes left.

Anyway, that’s about it for me. Tomorrow I’m not sure what I’ll get up to. I’ll be cooking dinner though, and will have to go and buy a few groceries afterwards.
