Tuesday
- It was cool again in the daytime, torrential rain later on.

I had an okay day today. I got up on time, or very nearly so and watched the news. It was on today. Woot. Then, I went back to bed for a bit.

After I got up, I checked email and such and also watched a bit of TV. I watched the second part of a movie about terrible weather storms. It supposedly took place in Chicago, but the shopping mall had The Bay, so I really don’t think it was the US!

I did a few loads of laundry in the afternoon. It didn’t take too long as I didn’t have the huge mounds I usually have. With us going away this weekend I wanted to be able to wear some of the just washed clothes.

I had a lovely lunch of leftover tuna casserole, and the remaining half of my avocado. So nice. I finished up the cut tomato from last night too and it was perfectly ripe. Mmm.

After my shows finished on WOWOW I put on the movie I’d taped last night. It was a Futurama movie? I’d never seen Futurama before. Some of it was really funny, some of it was a bit strange. F came home right at the end of it.

When it finished I stopped the tape and lo and behold, Sixteen Candles was on. We were supposed to go out for dinner, but ended up watching the movie. F laughed a whole lot more at it this time than he did the first time I showed it to him. It was great.

We went out to dinner and drove to Cocos. When we got there our point card was missing. I couldn’t find it in our file and F couldn’t find it in his wallet. That card is one of the few reasons we go there as we get a 10% discount with it. A couple of weeks ago F lost the point card for the grocery store and the police sent him a letter to tell him it was found. We think our Cocos card was probably with it too. And, the reason he hasn’t gone to the police station to pick up his point card? Don’t ask!

We changed restaurants and went to New York, New York. It was okay. Not great, not bad. After that, we stopped briefly at my school to do a quick check. Since I didn’t have any classes today I wanted to make sure things were okay. They were. We came home as F said I didn’t have to make dinner tomorrow night.

At home we settled in for a bit and at 11 watched American Idol Season 9. These were the tryouts again and some were terrible, some were surprisingly good. One guy had to be escorted out by a police officer.

Anyway, that was my day. It was okay. At least I got the laundry done. Hurray. Night.
