Cool, but not snowy, rainy or overly windy. Yes!!!
Okay, watching the Inauguration here, so might be distracted. Aretha is singing.
Today was pretty good. I got up at a decent time, vegged around for a bit too long and then showered. In the afternoon I vacuumed the apartment, even doing the vents and getting the spider webs in the spare room.
I had lunch and then headed off to the school, by bicycle. Hurray. I got there in a jiffy and got on with my day.
Classes were good. Between them I prepped for next week, so did rather well I think. After my last student left, I cleaned up and then called Fumihiko. He came to get me, on time! (After Saturday, I think he's a little afraid to be late!)
We came home and I cooked dinner. Tonight I made a stirfry and it was good. I did add a few extra veggies, but not any controversial ones.
Obama's speaking....
We just had a quiet evening in. We watched a very funny Ugly Betty, and then didn't do much else. Now, I'm watching Barack Obama take office. An interesting day, to say the least. Night!

"Spare room"... What is this "spare room" thing of which you speak? ;-)
Boy, I have lived in three rooms for so long that I've forgotten what it's like to have any room to spare. I'd love to have a room which was an "office" where we could keep the computers and desks separate from the sofa and T.V., but I don't love it enough to pay more rent of live further from the center of Tokyo!
There are some benefits to your location, no doubt about it. :-)
We have a tatami room which we don't use....or rather we use it now as a storage area. I really don't like it as I'm not a fan of tatami and before we moved in had a serious mould problem which somehow I was blamed for...but that's a post that would stir up a lot of resentment so I won't go there.
You probably don't want to know that we actually have another bedroom that we use for hanging our clothes to dry! Sorry.
If it makes you feel better, my school is tiny too. It's a bachelor type apartment so I have to use all the space carefully!
Thanks for visiting !
