Snow, snow, snow...

Today was a good day, mostly. Fumihiko got up and went to his doctor again, I stayed home and had a bizarre dream! I dreamt that I was being chased by an assassin and I couldn't tell people because if I did, he would kill them. It was one morning when I was really happy to have the alarm go off!

Fumihiko and I went to Gusto for breakfast and then on to my school. He volunteered to help me do some shovelling, and of course did it all before I got outside with my snow dump. I was a bit miffed though because he was trying to clear too much snow. He got mad at me and stormed off. Sigh. I finished as much as I could and then went in my school. I got ready for work, and then went back out to check the parking space. It was already covered over, by about 3 cm of snow. Argh. I cleared it again and looked up to see my student and her mother coming from the other side of the apartment. They'd parked on the street (which is a big no-no!) I asked her mother to use my parking space and I went in and we had our lesson.

My second class didn't turn up, even though I'd gone out again to clear snow. She did call a little later, but she was having lunch with her husband. I had a break then, did some laundry in the school, read the newspaper, and ate my lunch.

I went out again before my 4 pm class and did more snow moving. It wasn't too bad, not wet or heavy, just a pain in the butt because I had to suit up to go out. My 4 pm lesson went quite well, and we had an interesting discussion.

Another break, and then I went outside to check things again. The steps near the road were completely covered again, so I shovelled them, then checked the parking space. Covered too. I quickly cleared it, then went back in the apartment. Whew. Getting tired of all the boots on/boots off nonsense. My lesson went well. I think it was a little easy for the student, but I really hope to have her talking more.

After I finished and cleared up, I called Fumihiko to see if he was still mad at me. He said he wasn't, so I asked him if he would come and pick me up. We had a nice dinner at Jiro, grabbed a few groceries, and then came home.

We watched my CSI shows and then a bit after midnight, we watched the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know people love the series but I love the movie.
