Cloudy and then rainy at night.

A good morning. I had a long relaxing morning, even though Fumihiko was around. Sometimes it is hard to relax with my husband around because we have such different rhythms in the morning.

We had lunch at a little place in downtown Tsuruoka. It was very nice. Fumihiko has been trying to get me to go there for a while, but the timing is usually wrong. He brought me back to the apartment and he finished packing up his stuff. He left just a bit after two.

I enjoyed my afternoon, and then a little before four pm left for my school. It was cold and the drivers out there were idiots, but I got to the school in one piece.

My two classes went quite well. The first one was okay. The child was a bit naughty, but not too bad. The second lesson I spent helping my student with her abstract for her Master's thesis. Wow. It was quite difficult, but I think I helped her.

I finished up quickly and then left the school. It was raining when I left the school, which was sad. I bicycled to the grocery store and bought a few things for my dinner. I got home and then ate.

Fumihiko called me after I got home. He'd made it safely and had dinner. He sounded lonely but basically fine.

I didn't plan to watch regular TV, but ended up doing it anyway. I watched an interesting documentary about Stadium Rock. Then, I watched a movie that was a bit odd called Lonely Hearts. It was followed by the first Bridget Jones movie, which was better than I remembered. I was shedding a tear at the end. I'm now watching the sequel, which is good, but not as good as the first. I do want to have an earlier night than I did last night. And the night before that.
