Monday - Cold and a little snowy
I had a really strange night last night. I went to bed when we came back from the movie, but woke up 3 hours later and didn't go back to sleep for about 4 hours. That meant I overslept and nearly missed my trip to Costco. I made it however.
In Costco, it was much busier than the one I go to in Yamagata, but people were friendly and in good moods, so it didn't matter too much. I found one thing that I wanted to buy, so put it in my cart and then my sister found me. We went to the checkout. She had a cart full so it took a while. I was in line and then when it was my time, I didn't think to tell the woman that I was an International Member before she rang my stuff in. That meant that she needed a supervisor to cancel the first transaction and they were all busy. Oops. It took about 10 minutes before one could come. It was a little embarrassing, especially since I only had one item!
We came back to my sister's house and unpacked the vehicle. We had quite a busy afternoon. My sister did some meal prep for the future. In the evening, the two of us made cookies! We made some shortbread and also she made some Imperial Biscuits which she'd been thinking about making for years. The baking went well and we made lots of cookies.
I actually went to bed quite early last night. I didn't turn on the TV at all, so went to bed around 10:30. I slept until 2, but then managed to go back to sleep. Yay for me. I woke up at 6:30 and decided to blog. Woot.
Come back later if you will to hear how my Christmas Eve-day goes. Until tomorrow....

It was a bit embarrassing! Still, my fault for not paying attention I think.
