Wednesday - Snowy and cold
I woke up when my alarm went off this morning. I made a trip downstairs and then came back upstairs and snoozed longer. F was downstairs cooking for his mother. Somewhere around 10:30 F came back upstairs and went to sleep. I woke up a bit later, snoozed more and then got up after noon!
I got dressed and waited for F to wake up again and say what he wanted to do today. He didn’t wake up until much later!
Around 2:45, he was still sleeping so I went downstairs and made my lunch. I hadn’t eaten anything all day so I needed something. F came downstairs while I was there and a few minutes later he made himself something to eat I think.
I ate upstairs. Since F was up, I turned on the TV to watch the 4pm news. I kept expecting him to ask me to go out or to do the thing that he took the day off for, but he didn’t. Finally he tried…at 5 pm and of course, the office was closed. I was quite annoyed by that and he wasn’t too happy with himself either.
At 5:45 I got ready to go downstairs and make dinner. Tonight I did a stir-fry and served it with salad and rice. All the rice from yesterday disappeared, so there wasn’t any. I had to use the bachelor pack rice instead.
Dinner was okay. Neither K nor F had seconds. I did, but I liked it! I thought my stir-fry was good.
I did the dishes afterwards and hoped that F would come in and help me, but of course, he didn’t. I’m not sure what his excuse was.
I had to do up the burnable garbage for tomorrow so I did that. I reminded F that we needed to go out for groceries but for some reason he went outside before I went upstairs to change. I think he was shovelling a bit of snow, but I didn’t really know.
I went upstairs to change and a few minutes later F came in the room. We left a few minutes later.
I had wanted to go to MaxValu as it was later and I thought we’d have more chance of getting things for dinner. However, F missed the turn off and then said he was taking me to Mina. Okay then. He came in the store with me, which I didn’t really want, but whatever. Today I used the buggy and I did the majority of the shopping. For tomorrow I got chicken and Friday sausages to go with our pasta. Hopefully that will be nice.
We left the store and drove back to the house. In the parking space, F grabbed my hand and apologized about today. He is having a hard time of things lately. He asked if we could have some TLC time later and of course I said yes.
We went back in the house and I put the groceries away. I went upstairs and relaxed a bit. It took a while before we synched. We had a nice little cuddle and then I came to my computer and F went to get some food!
And that was my day. It was nearly a complete wash for me. I may do more laundry tomorrow, I still have a ton to do. I may go out and shovel a bit of snow, I’m not sure!
