Sunday - Sunny and warm
I woke up this morning fairly early. F was awake in bed beside me on his computer. I smiled and went back to sleep. I woke up a bit later and he was gone. He’d had to take the car in for a recall that needed to be fixed.
I went downstairs and came back to bed. I did sleep a bit late today, but got up and dressed myself. I waited to see if and when F would want to do something. He came upstairs later and asked about lunch. He wanted to go to the eel restaurant again. I told him that if it was closed on Saturday, it would also be closed on Sunday for lunch. He insisted it was open, so off we went. It was closed. He lives in hope. I don’t know what was going on in his head.
We went to Udon Ichi, for the first time in ages. The waitress actually asked us where we’d been! We both had udon plus some tempura on rice. We had slightly different types. It was good, but I didn’t really want to have any rice. We didn’t do anything after our meal, we just returned to the house.
I spent time on my computer and then decided to take a nap. I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until after 6 pm. I suggested to F that he make his mother some dinner. He said that she didn’t want to eat. Well, after he went downstairs and checked with her, he decided to make dinner for her!
After that, we were planning to go out. F asked where I wanted to go and I suggested Gusto. He wanted ramen. I suggested that he take me to Gusto and then he should go for ramen. We did that, but it wasn’t terribly nice for either of us.
I enjoyed my dinner. I had a mixed grill plus drink bar and a small order of fries. It was quite nice. I was nearly finished when I got an email from F asking if I was still in Gusto. Of course, I was. I texted back to say that I was and that I was nearly done. I’d finish up, use the washroom and then pay.
After that, we went to the grocery store. F stayed in the car. Yay. However, he didn’t give me enough money for the groceries. He gave me some and I told him it wasn’t enough. He said it was all he had.
I went in the store and I bought groceries. I didn’t buy anything unusual, or any kind of treat or anything like that. Of course, I went over the amount F gave me. I had to fork out the extra. It wasn’t a lot over, but it was over.
We came back to the house and at the house, F touched my knee. I was quite annoyed with him and just got out of the car and tried to tell him that the groceries cost more. I took the groceries and then went into the house while he drove off again. I’m not sure where he went or what he did!
I put away the groceries and a few minutes later F came back. I went upstairs and turned on the heater. I changed into my PJs and decided that I’d watch something on the Fire Disk.
I relaxed and did spend a couple of minutes with F. It was nice, but honestly, I tried to tell him that Sunday’s groceries are more expensive than other days because we buy things that we don’t do the rest of the week.
I ended up watching an episode of Gotham and quite enjoyed it. This one was all about Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. It was quite good. I am quite enjoying this show.
And that’s about it for today. I’m going to be back to cooking dinner tomorrow night. I haven’t decided what I’m going to make exactly! I bought ingredients for a stew, so I could do that tomorrow and have a stir-fry the day after, but I’m not really sure.
