Friday - Clear and cloudy, a few snowflakes

I woke up early around 8 am this morning, I went downstairs and then fell back asleep. F got up a bit later to make breakfast for his mother and himself. I slept on for a while, but did manage to drag myself out of bed almost on time. I got dressed and grabbed my own breakfast. 

I came upstairs to eat and F and I decided to leave a little bit before noon. We did! We had a nice drive over to the Mikawa Mall. It was still insanely busy, so it was a bit hard to find a parking space, but we did get a decent one. We went right up to the cinema and I bought our movie tickets. F went into the line for popcorn and drinks. It was huge! I gave F his ticket and I went into the cinema.  F did manage to get to his seat before the movie started. Yay!

And what was the movie? The Beekeeper with Jason Statham. It was fun. It wasn’t the greatest film ever, but I liked it. I think F took a nap in the middle of it, but that’s okay. He was tired.

After the movie, the mall was too busy to have a meal in. Lately, there aren’t many restaurants in the mall. We went back to the car and F decided to go to Sakata. He wanted to try some restaurants that he likes but when I Google-Mapped them, they were closed. I finally suggested a yakiniku place. Their lunchtime was finished by the time we got them, so we ordered off the regular menu. It was expensive, but quite good.

We went back to Tsuruoka and went to a grocery store. F and I went shopping. F got quite a few things and I had to keep him focused. He shouldn’t just get food for tonight, but I wanted him to get food for tomorrow morning’s meals too. He got a bit confused but eventually did get food for both. F got a bento for himself and one for his mother’s dinner. I got some chicken drumsticks and a salad for me. 

We came back to the house and relaxed. F did some cooking and he ate his bento earlier than I did. I was still stuffed from lunch and all the popcorn I ate at the movie!

I did think about watching something on the Fire Disk, but I didn’t get around to it. Instead, I let YouTube entertain me. It was okay. 

I’m not sure what we’re going to get up to tomorrow. K has her daycare and F only has two more days left of his time off. I’ll be glad to get back to a normal routine, but I don’t know if F feels the same way! I had planned to do more cooking this break, but honestly, I’m not sad about it. I deserve a break too!
