Clear and cool.
Today was quite a good day. I got up early, watched the news, drank coffee and then the end of Project Runway. For a woman who never wears designer clothes, doesn't own anything by an important designer, and really doesn't care what she wears, I love that show! Maybe I was Coco Chanel in another life? Unlikely!
I had a good, if quiet day at home. I showered and somehow along the way ended up watching Marie Antoinette. I enjoyed what I saw, but when it got closer to the end of her life, I'm afraid I turned it off.
Today I left home a little after 3 to walk to the school. I made fairly good time, but I stopped in a drugstore for a few things. I got to the school just a bit before 4. I did go and check the parking space but it was still mostly cleared. I broke a bit of the pile down, so that if it's warm tomorrow it might melt.
I had two classes tonight and they both went well. The first one we finally finished the alphabet in our phonics book. We also started talking about size words. In the adult class we talked about cities in other countries, and finally talked about cities that we have visited. It was a little odd for me because the text suggested talking about the student's country's capital city. Well, I've been to Tokyo many times, but I've never been to my own country's capital. Ottawa is a long way from Edmonton! I had to talk about London instead.
After my classes I cleaned up and got Fumihiko to come and get me. He did, bless him, but he wasn't feeling too well. He had a headache. In Japan that can only mean one thing. He's really really sick! (Okay, I admit it, cheap shot. I had headaches for 2 weeks straight, and he was quite sympathetic.) When we came home, I cooked dinner and it was good. I made my pork-tofu-egg-kimchee stirfry, and had salad on the side. For a change, we watched a movie on the TV too. Evolution was on. We'd already seen it. In fact, it was the first movie we went to after we got married. I remember laughing quite hard at it and Fumihiko trying to shush me because I was the loudest person in the theater!
Anyway, not much else happened this evening. He had his bath and then went to bed. He isn't feeling well, and I hope he'll be okay. Usually a good night's sleep helps him.
Tomorrow I'm off work. Hurray for that! The only thing for me is that I'm not sure what I'll do. I might stay home, or if I get really ambitious, I could go out for a walk or something else. Only way to find out what I do is to show up back here tomorrow! I'll see you then.
Night night.

Hee hee! Haven't been here for a while, and every thing's new! The no-pop-ups are a blessing as my computer anti-virus ware seems to deem the pop-ups from your site as "malicious adware"...:-))
I better update my link if you're going to be moving here for good.
You asked for comments, i couldn't resist! *grin*
Always glad to have yours.
I think I'll keep the old site...and keep all my movie/book/archives there....but probably this will my my new home on the net. The address is much easier to remember...but after 8 or so years I have the other one memorized!
I think this is a good move for you. If you're going to run both concurrently, I'll read this one (that is, if the content mirrors or if more ends up on this one).
I know blogger isn't perfect, but I do think not having pop-ups and being able to easily embed pictures rather than having to use Flickr is nicer.
My biggest beef with Angelfire is the pop-ups but ironically, my latest update of software seems to have eliminated them (on my computer anyway).
I do plan to blog in both places, at least for now. I haven't really worked out how to do things like put pictures in the middle of my entry yet, but I can blog from my cell phone, which is something that I quite like!
Honestly, I really only started to use Flickr because I ran out of space and didn't want to pay for my blog! Angelfire has a 20 MB limit for free web pages and after 7 or 8 years I've nearly reached the limit.
So, yes, please feel free to comment over here!
And I hope you don't mind, but I put listed your blog in my "Blogs I Read" section! You too KC!
I appreciate that you put me in the list! Thanks!
