Rainy and cool.
Sunday was an okay day. Fumihiko didn't sleep well at all. I think he got up around 4 and didn't come back to bed. I slept until almost 10:30 and then got up. I didn't feel very well, so when Fumihiko asked me to go to the Daiichi Hotel for lunch I begged off. I didn't want to breathe all over other people's food! Instead we went to the far away Gusto!
On the way home Fumihiko looked at tires. He has to buy winter tires for his new car. I stayed in the car and listened to Savage Garden. I think I got the better part of the deal.
At home we just vegged for a while. I watched Heroes from the night before but basically spent time on my computer.
We went out for soba for dinner. It was really good. Fumihiko claims that it is the only "genuine" soba in Tsuruoka. We had it with some tempura. We hit the grocery store afterwards for a few things.
In the evening we just had quiet time. I noticed that The Grindhouse was going to be on at 10 so I set up the VCR to record it. Fumihiko still hasn't contacted WOWOW about getting the digital version for our new TV/HDD recorder. Sigh. I watched it all, Fumihiko went to bed on the last bit though. It was okay, but honestly, I didn't think that it was worth all the hype. I think as a double feature in a theatre it would have been fun, but as separate DVDS probably not worth the 10,000 yen or so the stores are asking.
I went to bed around 2:00 am after getting the garbage ready for Fumihiko to take out in the morning. I guess I must be over my jet lag a bit. I'm still sick though. I did take a cold pill before bed and had a good sleep.
That was my Sunday. Later eh!
