November 4, 2008 - Tuesday

Mostly clear and cold, but some rain too.

I got up early this morning, watched the news and then got on with my day. I spent a bit of time on the computer then took a shower.

I watched the weekend's TV. I rather enjoyed it. At 2 pm I watched The 4400. It was different today. I'll have to watch it tomorrow to find out.

I headed off for work a bit before 4 and got there at 4. I made good time and I was lucky enough to get there before the rain came.

Classes went well today. I made my students work rather hard!

After classes, I got a message from Fumihiko saying that he was working late. So, I finished up my stuff and then read more of my book. I'm reading a scary novel about a haunted house.

Fumihiko came to pick me up after 9 and we decided to go to Moku-Moku. We arrived there only to discover that they had closed early tonight. I suggested going to the grocery store and picking up some stuff from the deli. We did a version of that! I got some frozen pasta and salad, and some fancy bread. When we came home, we heated up our food and enjoyed it while watching Ugly Betty.

That was my day. It was quiet and fairly good. I enjoyed myself, but I'm looking forward to having a day off tomorrow. I'm also thinking about a couple of things. One, the US election will FINALLY be over...I hope. And, my poor little niece Katie will be going to the dentist to have many teeth out for her braces. I hope she has an easy time of it and can remember that one day it will all be worth it.

Got to go, night.

I hear you. I can't wait for the election to be over. I don't even care who wins. I am just sick of hearing about it.

Hope things are okay for your niece.

Oh, me too! I've been watching the coverage on NHK this morning and every time the Japanese announcers come on I want to throw something at them.

My niece is getting 8 teeth out today...Yikes. Her orthodontist is supposed to be very good though, so I have hopes that it won't be as traumatic as she thinks it will be.
