Cloudy, but no snow or rain. Yay.
I had an okay day today. I got up a little before my alarm to turn on the heater. I had a hard time getting out of bed later though!
I putzed around the apartment for the better part of the morning. I was working for some of it. I had to contact a couple of students and I was trying to sign up for a teacher registration site. It was very stubborn though and didn't want to let me on it.
Around 1:30 I got a surprise. My husband came home. Honestly, I wasn't happy to see him. I haven't had a day to myself at home for weeks and I was so enjoying this one. However, he basically just collapsed into bed and fell asleep. I went out to take care of some banking.
When I came back he was sleeping. I made my brunch and then watched a bit of TV. He slept. He slept more. And more.
Around 8 pm I decided that enough was enough, and woke him up (nicely I might add!) We decided to go out for dinner after a bit of snuggling. We went to Grado. At Grado the waitress said we could have my favourite pasta dish (it's not on the menu now) so we ordered that. It was yummy, but a little salty. It was "ikura-salmon-shrimp fettucine".
When we finished dinner, we drove to my apartment to set the heater for tomorrow, then headed off to the grocery store. I think we'll cook tomorrow night. I'm a touch nervous about the whole thing because Fumihiko and I in our tiny kitchen could be a freaking disaster waiting to happen.
In the evening at home, Fumihiko made us some tea which was nice of him. However, he proceeded to watch some inane Japanese stuff which really irked me. Why doesn't he ask if there's something I'd like to watch, or if there's a movie we could watch together? Just stupid stuff where men are dressing up like school girls. And that's not at all strange or creepy, is it? (Okay, I know, double standard here...I love Little Britain and they dress up in women's clothing all the time--but it's FUNNY.)
Anyway, Fumihiko went off to bed and I'm now blogging and yawning away.
I'm off to bed now! Night night.
