Warm and Sunny, gorgeous day.
It's hanami time in Tsuruoka, so I'll give you a few snaps, shall I? Enjoy.
I slept in a bit this morning, then got up. Fumihiko and I went out for lunch to Kintaro Sushi. It was very nice. We went near the end of the lunch time and had to order our sushi, so it was freshly made. Yay.
We came home and I prepared a few things for mailing. I did a card for a friend, a gift for Katie, and then just as I thought I was finished, I got a bookmooch request, so I did that one up too.
We walked to the post office, I did my stuff there, and then we continued on to the park. We walked around the park to see the cherry blossoms. They were lovely. However, a mean nasty voice in my head was saying, "They're just flowers. What's the big hoohaw about anyway?"
We came home and vegged for a while. We had a fairly early dinner in Cocos, then came home via the grocery store to get ingredients for dinner tomorrow. Fumihiko is going to cook.
In the evening, we watched Borat. We were at times laughing our heads off, at other times beside ourselves with discomfort. Some of it was so unbelievable that it's hard to imagine it wasn't all set up before hand.
After that, I made Fumihiko watch last week's Project Runway, then we did last weeks Desperate Housewives. That one was quite interesting. Lots of weirdness going on in Wisteria Lane.
And that's about it. It's terribly late, so I should be getting to bed soon. I'm tired and I have a full day tomorrow so I need to get myself to sleep. Wish me luck with that! Night!
