Rainy and drizzly, clearing in the evening.
A nice day. I woke up this morning, and sent Fumihiko off to see his doctor. It was more of a social call than needing to see the doctor. I think Fumihiko was thanking him for referring him to the hospital.
I got up, made the bed and showered. I was ensconsed in my computer corner when he came back.
This morning we decided to go to Capri, a little restaurant by my school for our brunch. It was very busy, which is a good sign. We had a very nice lunch there. I had carbonara with asparagus, Fumihiko had paella with seafood. Both lunches came with a couple of appetizers and a small salad, soup and dessert and coffee. It was good. I don't know if we'll go there again as timing and parking are important for us, but it was a nice change from our usual places. Fumihiko dropped me off at my school and I got busy.
I only had one class today, but I have 3 tomorrow and I wanted to make sure they were ready to go. Two were already, but the middle one needed a bit of work. I'm glad I took the time to get ready. When my student came today we had a good class. Today was not such a heavy booklearning class, it was more practising what we've learned lately.
After class and after my paperwork, I called Fumihiko and he picked me up. We stopped at the drugstore first, then went to S-Mall for a coffee. Yum. We traipsed around the dvd store but didn't buy anything, then came downstairs to the bakery and got some bread. Fumihiko wanted some bread and cheese.
We came home and had some toasted bread and cheese. The bread was good, we bought a baguette and he put some curry cheese slices on it. That was okay, but later, I grilled the bread and put some lemon curd on it. Now that was a treat! After eating all this bread, Fumihiko decided he was hungry and wanted to go for dinner! What a guy.
We did wait a while, I just wasn't hungry and couldn't think of a single place I wanted to go. Finally, Fumihiko came up with a good idea. Moundon, the Korean izakaya that we go to. We went there and had a great meal. We had chap chae, chichime and bulgogi. Yum.
We came home via the grocery store and then spent a quiet evening at home. We watched Desperate Housewives. It was, as usual, fun, but weird! It was a little odd to see Lynette in the hospital going through chemo. Someone I know through my women's support groups and blogland is going through that (and much worse) at this time, so it wasn't as happy a show as it could have been for me.
And that's about it. Tomorrow I have 3 evening classes, but I have the whole morning and most of the afternoon free. What will I do? I have no idea. Find out tomorrow what we do! Night!
