Cooler, cloudy, and finally a little rain at night.
Last night was different from the first night here. Every couple of hours Fumihiko was checked on by a nurse. I understand why it was done, heck I think it's a good idea, but I was sleeping, and I was always woken up. I was woken not by the nurse, but by my husband talking to the nurse! I had an eye mask on so I didn't notice the nurse coming in, but I did notice my husband talking to him!
The morning was a bit odd. Fumihiko was driven away by a nurse to have an MRI and I was getting ready to go out. My friend phoned and said she was running late, so I took a little longer getting ready. I hadn't left before Fumihiko came back. I said goodbye and went out.
I met up with a couple of ladies from AFWJ and we had coffee downtown. After a while, one lady left, and the other one and her son took me off to a bookstore. I bought a couple of books there, and got some whiteboard markers at a nearby office supply store. She dropped me off at the hospital.
Fumihiko had emailed and phoned me to tell me that he'd been moved again to another room. Three days in the hospital and three different rooms. Hmm. The rooms are almost completely the same, just different locations. This one doesn't have oxygen in it, since Fumihiko doesn't need it anymore. (I mean the extra stuff that you get in hospital, not regular air. Focus people, focus!)
We had a quiet afternoon. I read a book, Fumihiko napped and then watched a couple of movies. He even took a walk, which he really wasn't supposed to. He was supposed to just stay in the room.
I left the hospital around 6 pm to go and have dinner. I thought about going off to another restaurant, but decided to go back to Dennys. Tonight's dinner wasn't so great. Oh well.
I walked back and had a fairly quiet evening in the hospital. I got some water earlier and it's now just after 10 and Fumihiko has turned in. I'm worried that he's been trying to do too much.
I've been having a lot of pain today with my sciatica. It's back with a vengence. I'm so not looking forward to the trip home.
Anyway, I think I'm going to call this a day. Fumihiko is trying to sleep and I should probably let him. Got to go.
