Sunny and gorgeous.
This morning at the hospital I woke up quite early, but napped on a little. Still, it became obvious that they were not going to leave us alone, so I got up, got dressed and finished my packing. Fumihiko packed his stuff up too, but in typical male fashion, did it without rhyme nor reason! I wasn't unpacking for him, so it didn't really matter to me.
He was going to be moved around 10:20, and my bus left the hospital around 10:35 so I decided that I might as well leave when he was going to. Fumihiko wouldn't just let me go though, he personally escorted me downstairs and then (shh, don't tell the nurses) outside too. We waved goodbye.
I was the only foreign person on the hospital's shuttle bus, and possibly the only person under 50, so I got a few odd looks. However, it was free, I was allowed to take it (I had asked a nurse) so, look away!
At Koriyama station I bought my ticket to Yamagata, then did a bit of shopping and had lunch. When the time came, I hopped on the Shinkansen and had a quiet and pleasent ride to Yamagata. I did a little shopping in Yamagata too, most most of it was the window kind.
The ride back to Tsuruoka was very uneventful. The bus was mostly empty. I did have a bit of a shock when I got back to Tsuruoka though. I discovered that the grocery store in S-Mall has closed (I had planned to get dinner there) and also closer to home, the Niigata-machi post office has moved! It's only moved 2 buildings down, but it was a big surprise. When I first moved to Japan, that was "My Post Office" as it was the closest to my apartment and on my way to work.
I walked home, checked email for a bit and then went out to the grocery store for my dinner and some groceries for tomorrow. I came home again with them and watched (of course) Project Runway. Fun.
I am really yawning away, so I think I'll get myself off to bed now. I haven't been up this late for days! Can't believe it. Got to go. Night!

Haven't been able to check in for a few days, but I hope everything is going well at the hospital and everyone is home and well soon.
Well, I'm home, F is still there. However, he's not "sick" in the normal meaning of the word. I think he has more energy now than he has in ages. I hope I can keep up with him!
He should be home at the end of the week.
