Hot and sunny.
Just before bed I was able to find the alarm system in my new cellphone. I usually don't use an alarm clock, I use my cellphone. I set it and hoped it would work.
This morning it did ring, but I had a hard time getting up. I did get up early, and I checked for news. It was on, so I set the vcr and then went for more sleep! I showered and then watched the news.
I had an early class today, so I really couldn't dawdle. I had an early lunch and afterwards I prepared broccoli for tonight's dinner. I'd never done it in the microwave before, so I turned to my friendly internet for help. It turned out perfectly.
I biked off to work. When I arrived I found that one of my students had called to cancel her class. She had to attend a funeral. It was sad, but I was glad that she called. I arrived a little late so I really had to hustle today. I was done in time. Hurray. My first class went well and my student and I had a good time. We talked about money and paying for things. I think it was useful and a little difficult for her.
In my break, I ran out to a drugstore for a few munchies, then came back planned a lesson and read the newspapers. Yay me.
My second class also went well and we had a good chat before getting down to work. After classtime was up, I showed my student the clapochet that I'd made. She liked it. Hurray.
I cleaned up and then called Fumihiko. He picked me up and we came home. At home we made dinner. I'd already done the broccoli, so I set the table, fried the chicken and got the salad out. After I finished the chicken, Fumihiko used the same pan for the gyoza. Everything was very nice. The broccoli was cold with Japanese mayonnaise on it. Fumihiko likes it that way, and I have to say it is quite good. He did the dishes and then he watched the rest of the baseball game. When it finished it was nearly time for Idol.
We watched American Idol and it was good. It was the results of the Country show and I think the right person got sent off.
Fumihiko went to bed soon after and I should get there soon too. I've been staying up too late these days and I need to change. So...I'll bid you all adieu. Night!
