Tuesday - Warmish and sunny.

Happy Constitution Day Norway!

A pretty good day. It didn’t start that well though. F forgot to turn off his alarm when he got up this morning, so it rang and woke ME up. Grr! Then, when I’d managed to get back to sleep, he came back home to find his wallet. Honestly, that man loses everything. I got up and I found it for him. I went back to bed when he left and fell back asleep. Of course I ended up sleeping through MY alarms!

I got up at a fairly reasonable time though and checked out the TV. I watched the last part of Taxi Driver and once again thought that it was just too violent. However, the whole devolution of Travis Bickle seemed rather prescient to today’s society. Wow…did I just break out the ten dollar words or what?

I showered, watched Criminal Minds which was interesting. It was cool because today’s episode was directed by Matthew Gray Gubler and starred one of the Cusacks, but not Joan or John. It had Ann as the mother of a kidnapped victim. She sounded like her siblings!

I got ready to go to work and left the apartment around 4. I was a tad late to be honest. Oops. Still, I made good time and got to my school quite quickly.

It was hot in my school, really hot. It was 25 degrees and stuffy. I tried opening the window, but it just got hotter, so I turned on the air conditioning. I did try running it higher and at a lower speed than I usually would, but it was quite hot. I decided to change my shirt just before class, so that I would be more comfortable.

Sadly, my first student didn’t come today. She was busy, but will try and come on Saturday at an earlier time.

My second was on time and we had a good class. We are in the process of learning the new vocabulary of the unit and having some interesting discussions.

After class, I did paper work and cleaned up a little. I called F and he picked me up.

We had an okay dinner in Cocos and then came home. F watched weird Japanese stuff, while I checked my email groups. I put on Jaime’s Revolution or whatever it’s called and did a bit of darning in on my shawl.

And that’s about it for my day. It really was quite a good one. Talk to you tomorrow night? Bye for now!
