Saturday - Hot and sunny
An okay day. I got up before my husband today. That doesn’t happen that much. I showered and then spent a bit of time in front of the Computer.
We had breakfast at Cocos this morning and then F dropped me off at my school. I had a good class with my student and then spent quite a bit of time prepping something for later next week. I finished up by reading the newspaper and then I called F. While I’d been at work, he went to see if he could get his cell phone fixed and he probably could.
F came to pick me up a bit later and we drove around looking for a place to have a drink. We went to one place but it wasn’t opened yet, and then home. We picked up a couple of things I wanted fixed and drove off to the mall in Mikawa. I took a dress and a blouse in to be fixed and then we went to Seattle’s Best for a drink.
We decided to leave and on the way out of the mall decided to go to Sakata for dinner. Bad move! Tonight was Sakata’s Firework festival and the roads were jammed with people and cars. We got to the restaurant we wanted to go to, only to find that the parking lot was full. We headed back out of town and then decided to go to the Nepalese/Indian restaurant on the way out of town.
Tonight we had a good meal there. We both had the same thing, only not the same heat or nan. I had mild curry with garlic nan, F had hot curry with cheese nan. It was all quite good tonight.
After dinner we came home via the bookstore in Mikawa. I looked at a few books, but didn’t buy any. I have too many in my boxes at home.
We came home and had a fairly quiet evening together. We watched Top Gear and then F went to bed on Heroes while I stayed up. I had been watching Not Going Out with the headphones on, when F made an appearance again. He startled me. He’s now snoozing on the couch.
I really should get off to bed soon. It is 4 am and I am quite tired. It was a long, hot, but mostly productive day. Got to go. Night!
