Friday - No idea…didn’t go out!
I woke up a little before my alarm today and got up. What’s with that anyway? I planned to go back to bed, but never did.
I got up, checked email and stuff, then decided to watch The Last Station. I had taped it last week and hadn’t got around to watching it yet. It was very good. Christopher Plummer, Helen Mirren, James McAvoy and Paul Giamatti. It was about the last few months or so of Tolstoy’s life and the fight between his wife and his admirer over Tolstoy’s legacy. It sounds like it should be boring as all get out, but it really wasn’t. Of course, with actors like these, how could it be?
I did a little housekeeping today, but not very much. Had planned to go out, but didn’t. Really kind of a wasted day, but I didn’t really have too much I needed to do.
F came home around 6 and immediately started working on dinner. He made curry, which he then served as soon as it was done. It was okay, quite good really, just he served up too much for me! We had the curry with some Chinese style soup too. It was nice to be spoiled a little for a change. Unlike him, I did offer to help, and would have if he’d wanted me to.
I did the dishes afterwards, while we watched the American Idol Audition show I’d taped during the day. After it was over, F went to bed. I was rather sad.
I watched The Good Wife tonight and tried to tape a show on WOWOW at the same time. It’s tricky because taping programs that are bilingual are almost impossible to tape in the correct language. Anyway, I managed it, so after I finished watching The Good Wife I watched The Cape.
Later on, I watched Supernatural and now I’m thinking about getting myself off to bed. I do have to work tomorrow.
Anyway, a quiet day, really too quiet. I really am turning into a hermit. I just need a nice little cave somewhere with a good reading light and I’ll be happy! Got to go. Night!
