Postcrossing Cards - Incoming

October 15, 2011

I have received 3 postcards recently that I am posting for your viewing pleasure.

The first one came from the Netherlands, but the card isn't Dutch. It is, well, see for yourself.

London is one of my favourite cities so I loved this multiview of it. A nice card. The sender bought the card when they were on holiday in London.

This card comes from Germany. I always thought that lighthouses were romantic, and that I should live in one. I'd like the loneliness, think of all the book reading time, but I'd probably be afraid to climb to the top as I don't like heights!
The sender likes this place because it is so lonely, and doesn't like it as much when there are a lot of tourists there!

And, the last one, the one that arrived today, doesn't really need that much introduction, does it? Ol' "You-know-who", doing his best Bruce Willis impersonation.
This one came all the way from Taiwan in only 4 days.

I think these are all great.

Those are great!
I've noticed on a lot of profiles people really like lighthouses. I've tried to find some, but I haven't had any luck yet.
Have a nice day!

Illahee, you should check out Postcrossing.com. It's a lot of fun, and it is how I get all of these great cards. You send a postcard to someone and when it arrives, someone else in the world sends a postcard to you! It is nice to find things in my mailbox again that I want to get, rather than bills or nothing!

MJC--I hadn't noticed actually. I have such a hard time finding any local postcards that I take whatever I can get. I'll keep an eye out when I'm reading profiles now. Thanks for the heads up!

It's been a good week for cards. F got some nice ones too. He's getting obsessed with Postcrossing!

Thanks for visiting :-)
