Thursday - Cold, windy, with a few flakes of snow.

Brr. I think this winter thing might have arrived finally. Darn!

Today was a good day! I got up at a reasonable time and then watched Drop Dead Diva. After that, I showered and spent a bit of time on my computer. I finally got ready for work and cooked my lunch. I left for work right at 1 pm.

I got to my school fairly quickly and then started getting things ready. I hadn’t set my heater last night so it was quite cold in there. I warmed up the classroom and set up the water, that kind of thing. Just before class I was washing my hands when a big bubble in the water pipes hit the faucet. I was covered in water with about 3 minutes before my student was due to arrive. Yikes. I quickly grabbed a new shirt and put it on. Safe!

We had a good class and then it was time for her to leave.

I decided to go out for a few minutes to the drugstore, so I hopped on my bike and did that. I didn’t take very long, but I got some supplies for myself. Yay.

I spent the next few hours doing paperwork, reading newspapers and then decorating my school. It looks a little more Christmassy now. And, I changed the display of my postcards a bit too. This way is a little more easy to see them. I do have a few still to put up as F came to pick me up before I was finished. Still I think they look good.

We had dinner at the Japanese soba/sushi place that he likes and I don’t mind. I had a salmon-ikura donburi that was quite good.

After dinner we came home via another drugstore for different stuff, then the grocery store for some food for tomorrow.

At home, we ended up watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, or the end of it. It was great. I really need to re-read the books again soon!

I watched the tail end of Drop Dead Diva, then Episodes. This was the third episode and I thought it was really funny. It’s not a show for everybody, and I can see why a lot of people didn’t like it (on IMDb). It’s a satiric look at American TV done by British people.

I followed all of that up with a bit of ER. Two episodes worth, so I have TV’d myself out for a while. Until I wake up anyway!

That’s it for me now. I should get to bed. I have a busy day tomorrow. I must mail my Christmas cards and I really should do a post office transfer if I can. Sigh. There’s a few other things I need to do too. Wish me luck! Night.
