Sunday - Cold and rainy…bit of hail
A good day.
I woke up this morning to an empty apartment. I was rather surprised as usually F wakes up at his regular time and veges on the chesterfield for a while. I thought that he might have visited his mother or gone shopping, I wasn’t sure. I went back to bed and about 10 minutes later saw him come back in. He was laughing and said that he went to work. I didn’t believe him, but it seems that when he woke up, he thought it was Monday. He knew he had to start work early on Monday so he got up and went to his office. When he got there, no-one else was there. He was going to call the security guard to let him in, when he decided to check his cell phone to see what day it was!
My husband is that crazy.
I slept in rather later than I meant to. I had set a couple of alarms for myself and then wilfully slept through them.
When I got up and finished on my computer we went out for lunch. F wanted sushi today, so we went to Kintaro Sushi. It wasn’t terribly busy, but there were lots of people coming in all the time. Their sushi is nicer than the new chain in town, so we had a yummy lunch.
After lunch, I suggested going to S-Mall, so we did. We picked up some things at the hundred yen shop (F got new cord for his old pyjama bottoms and I got some envelopes and mini gift things.) I also found some presents for the hard to buy for people in my circle. In the mall in general, not in the hundred yen shop.
When we left that mall, F suggested a movie and I said that I wasn’t sure there was a good one right now. We drove out to Mikawa Mall and checked out the movies. They would both start fairly late in the evening, so we passed on the films. I did pick up a few things for the youngest person on my list, so fingers crossed, I’m about done my shopping. I still have to get F something, but he’s not that fussed about Christmas really. It’s my celebration, not his.
We came home for a bit, then went out again to have dinner at Grado. We both had pasta and enjoyed it a lot. Then, we bought a few groceries. I’m going to make dinner tomorrow night, but I think something is missing.
We watched Knowing on the telly tonight, it was on regular TV, then F watched something that wasn’t that bad for a while. I prepped a card to send out. Tonight’s one is going to Poland.
And that’s it for my day. Despite the cold and rainy weather, it was a nice day with my husband. Tomorrow I’m alone again. Got to go. Night!
