Wednesday - Sunny and cool, rainy at night

A good day.

I slept quite well last night, and even slept in a bit. I was letting my alarms ring a bit when I heard the front door open and hubby came home. Sigh. It was nice to see him, but…I got up and put on Grey’s Anatomy. He had done a drop-off nearby and had to wait until the person was finished before he could go back to his office. So, we watched the entire episode of Grey’s, and then someone put on Kickboxing. So, not only was he not working, he was watching Ultimate Fighting. Hmmm! He did leave soon after and I was greatly relieved!

I did my computer stuff and then F called me to say he was on his way. We had decided to have lunch together today. He took me to his ramen shop again. The non-ramen food is okay, but I’m not a big fan of Chinese food in Japan. I miss Canadian style Chinese food. (I realise that it has NOTHING to do with China, I just like it!)

I came home with him and then got started on wrapping presents. I got a lot done. I wrapped my best friend’s stuff and also most of my nephew’s and all of my BIL’s so that was good. However, I have lots left to do.

F came home a bit after 6. That was a disappointment as we had talked about going to a movie if he came home early enough. We probably still could have gone, but we needed to eat dinner first. Instead we had dinner in Tsuruoka.

After dinner, we went grocery shopping, not to our usual place, but it was okay. Then, we came home. We watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One on TV and then turned over for the rest of Grey’s Anatomy.
After it was on, I cleverly grabbed the remote while F was in another room and ended up watching a film on the people who hosted Woodstock. It was kind of cool in a way. Imelda Staunton played the main character’s mother and she was completely different than she was in Harry Potter. She didn’t even look the same! A quick IMDb check tells me it was called Taking Woodstock. Interesting if the era appeals to you.

F went to bed after his bath and I will probably go soon. I have to get up and wrap even more presents tomorrow! I like wrapping presents, I really do, but it is hard to do when F is around. That’s it for me. Tomorrow, I need to get the presents done. Wish me luck! Night.
