Saturday - Snowy but warmish

A good day!

I got up this morning, had a shower and after a little while on my computer, went off for breakfast with my husband. We went over to my school and F worked on my parking space, I worked on the front entrance and the passage way. I had to go in a few minutes after 12 to prepare for my class.

I was changing and getting things ready when F phoned me to say that he was stuck in the parking lot. Egads! I got as dressed as I could and went out to help him. I couldn’t. He called the auto club and just after that, we saw my student and her mother driving down the road. They couldn’t get in the parking space at all as F was in the way. I asked for 5 minutes (the class wasn’t due to start till then anyway) and went back to the school and got dressed quickly, then greeted my student when she came to my school. It’s actually the first time she’s come by herself.

After her class, I went out to see F and he was still there. I invited him in for a coffee, but as he was coming in, the auto club called him back. They were on their way. F came in and had a quick cup of coffee then went out to talk to the man. I went out a few minutes later and the car was already unstuck. Yay. We heard the snowplough making its rounds so he waited until it passed by and he helped me open up the driveway again.

He left me a few minutes before my second class. I went in to make everything ready. I wasn’t sure if my student would come, but she did! And, she stayed for the full class time too. I was really happy.

After class I cleaned up and did dishes. I called F and he came and picked me up.

We went to the movie theatre and saw The Ghost Writer with Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan. It was really good. It was intelligent and intriguing, with great acting too. We both enjoyed it.

We came home and watched some TV. A bit after midnight, F presented me with my birthday present, but that’s a story for tomorrow isn’t it? Got to go! Night.
