Friday - Sunny and cool

A nice day. I got up this morning quite early for me and got on with my day.  I had a quiet morning in, and in the afternoon did a Postcrossing to Finland.

I took the card out to the post office and then went on to the bank machine at the grocery store.  I was going to stop at McDonalds on the way back, but there were so many bicycles in front of the place that I couldn’t park mine.  I came home instead and cooked for myself.

F came home a little after 5:30 and was going to cook right way.  No!  I’d just eaten.  He made himself a snack and had a break for a while.  Around 7 he got the nabe underway.  It was…okay.  It’s strange, we used a mix from the store, but there was something not quite right about it.  I wouldn’t use that style again.

We went out to my school to set the heater for the morning, then headed off to Mr. Donuts for a tea or coffee and chat time.  There was some nice music and F was semi-chatty, so it was a nice way to spend time together.

We came home and almost immediately, F decided to go to bed.  Poor thing was exhausted.  He couldn’t sleep last night, so was out fairly quickly tonight.  I’m glad for him.

I watched a lot of TV tonight, best of all was The Good Wife.  I really like that show.  When I first heard about it I was in Canada and thought it sounded really lame, but now I think it’s rather well written and the actors are all interesting too.  There isn’t a character that I don’t like much…except perhaps the MIL and well…I don’t have a good track record with mine either!

That’s it for me.  Tomorrow I have a couple of classes at my school and then we’ll see.  We might go out to the mall to see Sherlock Holmes, but I’m not sure.  Tune in tomorrow and find out what we do!  Night.
