Wednesday - rainy then clearing

A weird day really.  I woke up this morning and had a headache. I’d gone to bed with a bit of a sore mouth then woke up with that headache. I decided there was no pressing reason to get up, so I went back to bed and slept for a couple more hours.  I did feel quite bit better.

I got on with my day.  I got dressed and watched a bit of TV, nothing too exciting.  I wrote a Postcrossing and then photographed it and the one I wrote last night.  I watched a pretty bad Nicolas Cage movie (Season of the Witch) and then went out quickly to the post office to mail the cards.  I popped them into the box before the next pick up time.

I rode home and thought, rather unusually for me, I don’t want to go home yet. However, I did.

F came home around his usual time but was in a bit of a state.  He just wasn’t happy with anything.  After a while he started looking for hotel rooms for our holiday.  I did too, and booked a hotel for two nights.  After Project Runway finished I booked another hotel for one night.  F is big on thinking he can and should drive huge distances in one day, completely forgetting that if he’s with me, it isn’t going to happen.  The last thing I want is to get sciatica again.

I cooked dinner and I think I did a good job.  I made a small stirfry out of a zucchini and some broccoli, cooked the ginger pork I’d marinated earlier, reheated the couscous and boiled water for tea and cup soup.  Whew.  I put the food out, his meat was on his plate and I called him over to the table. He yelled at me to leave him alone.  I’m not sure why.  He must have known what I was doing, right?  He said he was hungry.  Anyway, it put a damper on dinner.  I don’t think he had any of my lovely stirfry (all the more for me) although he did eat everything else.  After dinner, I put away the leftovers and left all the dishes for him.  He did wash them.

I watched One Tree Hill and then at 11, Private Practice.  F was his usual noisy self. He did take a bath after 11 so was quiet for a bit.  He asked if I wanted him to buy something at the grocery store but I really didn’t, so he didn’t go.  He went to bed fairly early but has been restless and moaning and groaning.  His leg/back/neck must be bothering him again.

It’s been an okay evening. I did some crochet, answered an email on a book site I use, read some blogs, but really I’m just tired of the husband hassle.

That’s about it.  I’m done.  Tomorrow, if the weather holds I hope to go to the mall, or at the very least, out somewhere.  I need to get out of the house once in a while.  Got to go. Night!
