Friday - rainy all day
An okay day. I was tired in the morning again, so I stayed in bed and slept a little longer. Yay. I got up, showered and watched Nurse Jackie. I had a quiet morning and afternoon.
I had planned to go out, but sadly the weather never really got better. I decided to clean up a shelf in our pantry. I did part of it and then took a break and watched part of a movie, The Adjustment Bureau, then went back and did more. I threw out a bunch of old food that was outdated, or opened. F buys food and then forgets about it. I never use it because I don’t cook Japanese style, so I never know it’s there. Last time I did this, I put his stuff in a bag for him to go through, but this time I just chucked it. He’d keep most of it I’m sure!
F came home a little late and came bearing gifts. As it is the end of the year for workers, some of the workers at his office were changing positions or leaving, so they gave munchie gifts. He’d also been to Yamagata city during the day and had time in his lunch time to go to Kaldi Farms for some almost essentials for me. Yay. I got more Earl Grey tea and some wonderful peanut butter as well. Yay him!
F cooked our dinner tonight and it was okay. Pretty good actually. He made nabe and we enjoyed it. After that I did the dishes and we had a quiet evening. We made a quick run to my school, came home and then watched The Walking Dead while drinking Orangina and relaxing…as much one person can relax while watching The Walking Dead!
I wrote up 3 postcards tonight, will try to send them out tomorrow. I have 3 classes tomorrow which is the most that I’ve had for a while, so I really should get to bed soon. Wish me luck with that! Night.
