Thursday - Rainy and then snowy and a bit stormy

A good day.  I got up early this morning and showered and watched the repeat of Celeb Apprentice. I also watched a couple of other programs too. I tried my onion bread from last night and I have to brag a little here.  It was amazing.  F told me this morning that it was good before he went to work, but I didn’t know if he was just saying it or not.  He wasn’t.   It was better than I remember it being from my childhood.

I decided that I would ride my bike to work today and that I’d do something goofy and go out for lunch on the way to work.  It was pouring outside so I decided not to wear my big coat. Instead I’d wear my rain-cape with a couple of jackets on underneath.  I did that and I was warm enough.  

I had lunch at Kappa Sushi today and I enjoyed myself.  I didn’t have a lot of sushi, but what I had I enjoyed.  When I was done, I paid and then set off on my bike again.  

I got to my school and had to take off my wet clothes and hang them up.  I did all the usual preparation things that I usually do, like start the water in the water pot, check the lesson plan and the tape.  Everything got done in time for my student.  When she came we had quite a good lesson. Some things were a little too difficult for her, and we didn’t finish this week.  

After class I did up my paperwork and then read my newspaper.  F sent me a message that he was at home, so in a few minutes I called him and said I was done.  He picked me and my bike up.

We went to Framboise tonight for dinner and it was nice.  F had the Japanese meal and I had minute steak.  We relaxed there and had a good time.  I asked if we could go to Yamaya after dinner and we decided to go.

I got a few things at Yamaya.  I picked up my favourite pasta sauce, as well as some corn nuts and F bought a few things.  

We came home afterwards as F wasn’t doing well.  The weather is bad for his back.  We watched a little bit of TV, and then F took his bath and went to bed soon after.  I went over to the chesterfield and did some sewing during The Good Wife.  It was really good again.  Michael J. Fox was on tonight and next week it is going to be Matthew Perry.  Woot!

Anyway, I’ve been on my computer now for a while and I’m debating going to bed or staying up a little longer.  I’m not sure which one is going to win though.  Probably stay up!  Got to go.  Night.
