Friday - Cloudy, very windy at night
An okay day really. I got up this morning, took a shower and then watched a bit of telly. I used F's computer and got a bit of my usual routine stuff done. A little after 12 F called to see if I'd like to have a bento for lunch. He could either pick me up one or pick me up and let me buy my own. I opted for the first one, but when F arrived he thought he was supposed to pick me up. He came into the apartment to find me and I was wondering where my bento was! He left to get them and came back in a few minutes with them. We had a lovely, and much cheaper time eating at home with them than we would have had in a restaurant.
I got all ready for work and left around 2 pm. The biking was fine today. Almost all of the sidewalks are clear and the roads are fine too, except where people throw their snow to get cars to run over it. Obviously, people who do that do not ride bicycles.
My student came and we had a good if slightly difficult lesson. She gets mixed up a lot, but doesn't always let me know that she doesn't understand. I need to do more review I think.
After her class I did my paperwork, a little filing and was taking a break when F called to announce that he was on his way over. I still had dishes to do so I asked him to give me a few minutes longer.
We decided to go to Moku-Moku tonight but when we got there it was obvious that they were having a private party inside. The outside lights were off and the parking lot was full. F wanted to try a Chinese style restaurant instead, so that was where we went. It was...okay. Their fried chicken was soggy and I thought their noodles were tough.
We came home and have been here ever since. I watched quite a lot of TV tonight, but enjoyed it. It was all stuff that I hadn't seen before. F did get to watch a bit before I took over the TV, so it wasn't quite that I overruled him!
And that was my day. Tomorrow night we're off to parts known so there won't be an update. Hopefully I'll be back soon with another scintillating update! Night.
