Wednesday - Cloudy and cooler

I slept in a bit today but did get up around 11 this morning. I also got dressed, which is something that my dear F didn’t do until much, much later!

I had a very quiet day at the house. F made bread this afternoon and it was due to come out about the same time that I was making my lunch. I had my lunch and then I got to have some of F’s cinnamon bread. I was surprised that it was just cinnamon and not craisin bread too. He’d forgotten we had a big bag of them!

In the afternoon we just vegged and relaxed. It was actually rather nice to just be in the same room and not do very much!  We started discussing dinner around 5 pm and I said that I’d still like curry. We looked online to see if we could order from the place we wanted, but F couldn’t see a take out menu. He suggested driving to the shop to see if we could get take out from there.

We did. And of course, they had a “drive-through” section. However, the drive-through was quite different to most restaurants’ drive-throughs. It was a park beside, order and then drive to the side of the restaurant system!  Due to size and parking area restraints, they couldn’t do a drive “through”.  It was a bit odd, but it worked and a few minutes later we got our piping hot curries to go!

We came back to the house and ate. It was very delicious. I got a spicy Indian style curry that I liked a lot, F and K got more regular Japanese style curries with fish or seafood. F and I did a quick dishes wash and then went upstairs briefly.

We went out again to MaxValu and picked up some groceries for the next couple of days. I’m going to be making a crustless quiche tomorrow night I think. I got some veggies and more cheese for it. I hope it’ll be good. Plus, it is supposed to be a tad cooler tomorrow so using the oven won’t overheat us I hope. 

We came back to the house and I watched Project Runway. Tonight was the camping one. I feel a bit like they sent the wrong designer home…we’ll see next week I guess! 

After my all-important show, I did up the burnable garbage in the kitchen and up here. F will have to take it out in the morning before work.

And yes, he’s off to work tomorrow and he has to go in early. Poor thing. I’m hoping that he’ll be okay. I think he’s enjoyed his very low key Golden Week. We didn’t spend as much money as we usual do with our travelling, so that’s probably a good thing. 

I also took a shower tonight and there was a huge bug in the shower.  It might not have been a harmful bug, but I drowned it anyway. 

I watched Grey’s Anatomy and then turned off the TV. F is trying to sleep as he has to go in early tomorrow. I hope he’ll be okay. 

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to exactly but I’m hoping that some laundry and some crafting will be involved. Come back later and find out. Until tomorrow….
