Friday - Sunny and warmish

I woke up early this morning, around 6 and had to go downstairs. When I came back to bed F wanted to snuggle for a while. I fell asleep and when I woke up again, he was gone. 

I got up late, just couldn’t get out of bed. Finally I did and I watched the news. I grabbed my breakfast a little earlier than the new usual and ate it upstairs. After breakfast I took a nap, rather a longer than I meant to one. I only woke up when F Facetimed me to tell me that he wouldn’t be late tonight after all. Yay. 

I watched the second half of the movie I started yesterday and found myself not liking it at all. The actors were good but it was very hard to stay interested in the movie. Sigh. Too bad.

After lunch, I finished my mask. There wasn’t a lot to do, so I did it and now it’s done. I’ve put it into the wash because I think I should wash it before I wear it.  

All day my nose has been running and I feel like I might have a cold. Oh no!  Not the right time for that. 

I cooked dinner around 6 pm tonight. I had gone downstairs a little earlier to get things ready, but F took a while to get back here. I did pasta with duck and salad on the side. It went over quite well and we ate everything! No leftovers. F did ask if I wanted to go out tonight and I did, but since he wasn’t allowed to eat or drink after 8:00pm tonight he didn’t really want to go. That’s annoying. Don’t ask me if you don’t want to go!

I did the dishes and listened to my podcasts. Since F had a beer with dinner he stayed in the living room for a while and I came upstairs and finished my podcast. The peace was nice. 

F came up after a bit but spent time on the bed. I did show him my mask, he seemed to like it. I watched Hellboy, the newer version at 10 pm but really missed Ron Perlman in the old one.  The new guy was okay, but the combo of del Toro and Perlman in the original film was much better. The new version wasn’t good. I had a bad movie day!

And that’s about it for my day. F has to go to the doctor’s office tomorrow morning for a check. I hope everything is okay with him. 

Oh, of course, the big news of the day was that the US President and the First Lady have come down with Covid19. I wish I could say I am sorry about that, but I am petty enough that I can’t.
