 Wednesday - Cold, Snowy & Windy

Today was tiring. I’m not sure why, but it was!  I woke up when my alarm went off this morning. I made a quick trip downstairs and then watched the news and snoozed a little during an X-Men movie. 

I did a couple of loads of laundry today and hung them up in the room. I was vegging a bit and watching YouTube when F called. He said that he was going to take the afternoon off because he was having back pain. I sympathized. He said that he’d go to an onsen first and then if he still needed to, would go to his doctor. 

He phoned me a few times in the afternoon.  I grabbed my lunch and started watching a movie. I decided to start watching Midsommar. I got about halfway through it before the news started. That was enough for one day!

I was watching the news and F called to say he was going to his doctor. No problem. The phone rang again a couple of minutes later and it wasn’t F. It was a company that I have worked for in the past offering me a part time job next month. It may have the potential to continue.  I said that I’d have to discuss it with my hubby. 

I went downstairs to start dinner just after 5 pm. I was making stew tonight so I knew that it would take me a little extra. I also expected F to be back before his usual work day, so wanted to have a head start. 

I cut up and peeled vegetables (actually, the other way around) and then F came back. We had a nice reunion and chatted for a few minutes. I told him about my call. Since I will ask him to pick me up in the evenings I’ll need his cooperation. 

I got on with my stew making and he went upstairs to have a rest. It took a bit of while to get the stew made, but all in all I think it was fine. I quickly set the table and then served dinner.  I made a cream stew and it went over well. F had a second helping complete with second rice as well. I was surprised at that! He liked it so that was good. I had a tiny second bit of stew without extra rice. 

After dinner I washed the dishes and listened to the Canadian news and the movie podcast I like. It took a while, but I got everything done. I was really tired when I was done.

I went upstairs and F asked if I’d like to watch a movie. Under normal circumstances I would, but I was so tired I said no. Poor guy. The one time he asks me and I wasn’t into it. I had a cup of tea and then went downstairs and took a shower. 

I came back upstairs and basically just relaxed. I really am tired tonight, not sure why! 

I didn’t get my 5 closet items done today, but that’s okay. I did do laundry so maybe that balances it! I’ve been putting my laundry off all week. 

Not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, but we’ll see then. Come on back in a few hours and hear all about my Thursday. Until tomorrow….
